A rare snow day stripped the Lake Wanaka shoreline back to whites and greys, with fresh snow in the foreground and the lake fading quietly into fog. Almost lost within it all, a tiny yellow buoy provides the only hint of colour, turning the familiar scene into something simple, still and almost abstract.
