I was fortunate enough to explore a bit of Brisbane and the Gold Coast after a lengthy winter season in New Zealand. Arriving in Australia in their 'rainy season' (prior to summer) I was met with some challenging weather that caused me to rethink my photographic approach. The rain didn't stop me from visiting all of the beaches and I was surprise to see a jogger out mid-storm, getting the steps in. I appreciated the footprints he left in the sand and quickly snapped the perspective before moving on to some sheltered spots in the city.
