Driving out to see some wildfires in the area was not supposed to be this exciting. 10 minutes in to looking at the embers and smoke plumes the sky lit up gloriously. The Northern Lights (Aurora) were so vibrant they were clearly visible to the naked eye - which is quite unusual for this latitude.
