If you found the other photo of Mount Cook (with the Milky Way aligned above) then this was one of my shots taken before that one. I enjoyed the still water and crisp reflection of the mountain alongside the ice chunks floating on the glacier and once I found an aesthetically pleasing rock to use as foreground I knew my photo was set.
