I can remember leaving a party for this photo! I had Aurora (Northern Lights) alerts set up on my phone and it pinged at 10:30pm, right smack in the middle of a party in Sun Peaks. Thankfully I hadn't been drinking so I drove out to the lake to snag a boat-load (hey hey!) of photos from this remarkable light show. This was made all the more special by having no idea if the Aurora was visible until I got there and started taking photos!
