Few astro photo missions stick out in my mind as much as this one does. A lengthy drive from my base in Wanaka, but so very worth it with the conditions lining up (clear sky, very low wind AND no moon). I spent a good 3 hours here taking various shots and this one remains one of my favourites. Well worth the all-nighter.
