It rarely snows in the town of Wanaka due to its constant 'Spring' temperatures throughout winter. BUT, when it does snow, there are some fantastic views on offer - like the famous Wanaka Tree enveloped in falling snow, to a moody backdrop of fog and low cloud. Beuatiful.
